Business Ombudsman of Georgia Irakli Lekvinadze and the Georgian Business Ombudsman’s representative in Adjara have met with Turkish businessmen in Batumi. The consul general of Turkey in Adjara Region has also attended the meeting, as well as representatives of companies united in Association of International Investors, Association of Batumi Entrepreneurs and Businessmen and Association of Independent Manufacturers and Businessmen.

Tornike Rizhvadze, chairman of Government of Adjara, and Irakli Lekvinadze, Business Ombudsman of Georgia, have met with representatives of about 200 private companies operating in the Region and officially introduced the Georgian Business Ombudsman’s representative to the Adjara Region.

Business ombudsman of Georgia Irakli Lekvinadze, Deputy business Ombudsman Zurab Dznelashvili and Gogita Todradze, executive director for Geostat, national statistics service of Georgia have taken part in the conference organized by Gambling Business Association – Transparency of Gambling Business and Improvement of Reporting.


On June 1 the Business Ombudsman’s Office introduced the business ombudsman’s portal, which successfully operates and enables entrepreneurs to contact the business ombudsman’s office in electronic form.

Business Ombudsman of Georgia Irakli Lekvinadze has delivered speech at the 28th international economic forum in Krynica, Poland.

During the panel “Trade and Investment Cooperation of the Europian Union Countries with is Eastern Partners and Neighbours – are the Benefits Mutual?” 

Organized by Business Ombudsman’s Office of Georgia, a meeting was held between representatives of the Georgian business sector and Bookkeeping, Reporting and Audit Supervisory Service with the aim to share information about ingoing reforms in the reporting fields and to increase awareness.

By the initiative of Business Ombudsman of Georgia and with the support of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), trainings are being held on mediation between private and public sectors for representatives of government structures.

A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between National Statistics Office of Georgia and Business Ombudsman of Georgia. The bilateral document was signed by Mr. Gogita Todradze, Executive Director of Geostat and Mr. Irakli Lekvinadze, Business Ombudsman of Georgia and agreed on future cooperation.

Georgian Business Ombudsman Irakli Lekvinadze has met with Fatma Seren Yazgan, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Turkey in Georgia.

The Business Ombudsman of Georgia, Irakli Lekvinadze, and deputy Business Ombudsman Levan Kalandadze today introduced the Business Ombudsman's portal to private sector representatives.
