Tornike Rizhvadze, chairman of Government of Adjara, and Irakli Lekvinadze, Business Ombudsman of Georgia, have met with representatives of about 200 private companies operating in the Region and officially introduced the Georgian Business Ombudsman’s representative to the Adjara Region.
Tariel Giorgadze has been appointed as the Georgian Business Ombudsman’s representative in Adjara Region. He holds a MA degree in economics and diploma of the US national board of economic education. He has multiyear experience of working in public, private and nongovernmental sectors. Tariel Giorgadze has worked in the private sector as a manager for various business companies. Moreover, he was a president of the Association of Young Financiers and Businessmen (AYFB). In 2014-2018 he was a director of Adjara Regional Expertise Department of LEPL National Bureau of Forensics.
‘”Adjara Region is a special direction in terms of active economic and investment aspects. There are a lot of ongoing and planned investment projects. Both Georgian and foreign investors successfully operate in this region. Appointment of the Georgian Business Ombudsman’s representative in this region will enhance communication between the local government and private sector. At our meetings in this region businessmen stress that close communication with the local government is one of the challenging issues and I believe appointment of our representative will assist entrepreneurs to resolve this problem.
Objective of the new platform of communication between the public and private sectors is to assist and maximally quickly and efficiently eradicate all the problems that businessmen face in implementing legal entrepreneurial activities.
