We have had an interesting meeting with European Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmstrom In Brussels, the Prime Minister of Georgia noted. The parties agreed that EU will discuss the expediency of certifying Georgian companies.
«We have offered to discuss the issue of certifying each specific company so as they introduce products to EU market until completion of institutional and system reforms in the country. This decision will be of crucial importance to incentivize other companies and to make this success as an exemplary case so as companies make a use of our free trade regime with EU. We have got principal consent and we start procedures to enable businessmen to enter EU market as soon as possible. I believe this is a very important achievement and I hope we will finish these procedures successfully in the near future», the Prime Minister said.
