The Business Ombudsman of Georgia has met with Giorgi Salakaia, founder of LLC Badagoni company, and Levan Gamkrelidze, head of Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance.

The Business Ombudsman of Georgia has met with Giorgi Salakaia, founder of LLC Badagoni company, and Levan Gamkrelidze, head of Investigation Service of Ministry of Finance. The parties discussed the process of investigating the criminal case in relation to LLC Badagoni.

 

Instructed by Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Business Ombudsman Irakli Lekvinadze has established personal control on the developments in Badagoni Company.

 

The company founder has transmitted detailed information about the case to the Business Ombudsman. Giorgi Salakaia expressed discontent against the process carried out by the Investigation Service for collecting documents and electronic information for inspection/identification of specific circumstances. Levan Gamkrelidze, head of the investigation service, noted that Badagoni Company was free to continue production process in usual regime.

 

Investigation procedures at Badagoni office were conducted with adherence to legal requirements and the process will be continued transparently, Levan Gamkrelidze added.

 

The company will resume production process in a couple of days, the founder of LLC Badagoni said.
