Georgian business ombudsman Irakli Lekvinadze and Nino Chikovani, president of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), are holding meetings with business sector representatives in regions.

Georgian business ombudsman Irakli Lekvinadze and Nino Chikovani, president of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has met with about 50 local businessmen in Gori.

The Georgian Business Ombudsman plans to hold meetings with businessmen in regions as part of cooperation with Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI). Irakli Lekvinadze will meet with local businessmen in Gori, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Ozurgeti and Batumi jointly with Nino Chikovani, president of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Business Ombudsman Meets with Member Companies of Georgian Farmers' Association

Georgian Business Ombudsman Irakli Lekvinadze has met with representatives of Georgian Farmers' Association (GFA) member companies.

Business Ombudsman of Georgia Irakli Lekvinadze and Marchin Rutovich, president of Georgia-Poland Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed a memorandum on mutual understanding.

The new tax initiatives alleviate tax burden and simplify administration procedures. This is an important factor for both major and, especially, small business, Georgian Business Ombudsman Irakli Levkinadze said.

The free trade agreement between the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and Georgia will enter into force for Switzerland on 1 May. To that end the Federal Council on 28 March adopted the necessary amendments to the ordinance implementing the customs duty concessions set out in the agreement. The Federal Assembly approved the agreement negotiated through EFTA in September 2017. The agreement will help boost trade relations between the contracting parties.
