Business Ombudsman Meets with Member Companies of Georgian Farmers' Association

Georgian Business Ombudsman Irakli Lekvinadze has met with representatives of Georgian Farmers' Association (GFA) member companies.

At the meeting the parties discussed the relevant issues in agriculture sector and agreed cooperation details.

At the beginning of the meeting Irakli Lekvinadze held a presentation about the activities of the Business Ombudsman's Office. He analyzed key principles of the Business Ombudsman's activities and unveiled future plans. Later, the meeting lasted in interactive regime.

The discussion has outlined a lot of important issues. Therefore, meetings with GFA member companies will be continued in working format, Irakli Lekvinadze said.

At the meeting the parties stressed the importance of Business Ombudsman's involvement in various priority directions, including in communication between business and government sectors, discussion of legislative initiatives and delivering information-consulting services to business sector.

By invitation of GFA, about 70 representatives of the business sector have attended the meeting.
