Georgian business ombudsman Irakli Lekvinadze and Nino Chikovani, president of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), are holding meetings with business sector representatives in regions.
After Gori, the next meeting was held in Kutaisi. Irakli Lekvinadze updated the private sector representatives on the job that the Georgian business ombudsman provides and mechanisms for communications between the business ombudsman and the private sector. The meeting participants approved the mentioned information.
«We had very interesting meeting in Kutaisi. The private sector representatives put forward specific problematic issues and we should express our support to this issue. We have already outlined future cooperation plans with several companies», Irakli Lekvinadze said.
The next regional meetings will be held in Zugdidi, Ozurgeti and Batumi.
The meeting are being held with the support of International Finance Corporation (IFC) as part of memorandum signed by Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and the Business Ombudsman's Office of Georgia.
