Meeting between Business Sector and Bookkeeping, Reporting and Audit Supervisory Office

Organized by Business Ombudsman’s Office of Georgia, a meeting was held between representatives of the Georgian business sector and Bookkeeping, Reporting and Audit Supervisory Service with the aim to share information about ingoing reforms in the reporting fields and to increase awareness.

Georgian Business Ombudsman Irakli Lekvinadze, representatives of American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AmCham), Georgian Business Association, European Business Association and auditing companies, as well as managers of Halyk Bank Georgia, Rakia Georgia, Redix, Tegeta Motors and other 20 companies attended the meeting.

At them meeting Iuri Dolidze, director of the Bookkeeping, Reporting and Audit Supervisory Office made a presentation about ongoing reforms in the reporting field and the requirements determined by Georgian Law on Bookkeeping, Reporting and Audit.

The meeting was continued in interactive regime and the private sector representatives put forward relevant issues for practical implementation of reforms.
